Carson and Max's wedding day embodied fall in the mountains, with a side of sophistication and glamour.
Getting to photograph this couple, in this space, was such a rush. Working with the bold colors and intricate interior designs of Dorothy Draper's at the Greenbrier was a long time dream of mine.
Sometimes, when there are so many beautiful options as far as backgrounds and lighting is concerned, it can be overwhelming to make an on-the-spot decision on where to pose a couple (with a limited amount of time!) That is why I scoped out the space prior to the wedding day, and had a game plan for where we would visit inside of the hotel.
The most important thing to me when photographing a wedding day, aside from capturing beautiful images, is being mindful of the time we have for portraits. I was proud of the amount of images that we were able to take, in just 30 minutes of shooting time at the Greenbrier.
*Special shout out to Michelle Pauley at the Greenbrier Sporting Club for making this event so successful and FUN to photograph.
we had such a great experience working with you."
